Rockville Centre Abduction
Twelve-year-old Helen Robbins and her brother Peter observed five disc-shaped objects in formation. A blue ray struck Peter unconscious. Under later hypnotic regression, Helen recalled being taken aboard a craft where she encountered a tall telepathic grey being and several smaller hostile greys who performed a nasal implant procedure.

On a clear day around noon in June 1961, twelve-year-old Helen Robbins and her brother Peter were outside their home in Rockville Centre on Long Island, New York, when they observed five disc-shaped objects with visible windows flying in a V-formation at low altitude.
Without warning, one of the objects projected a beam of blue light that struck Peter, knocking him unconscious. Helen then watched as a large silvery cigar-shaped craft appeared and absorbed all five disc-shaped objects into its structure.
Decades later, under hypnotic regression conducted as part of an investigation by abduction researcher Budd Hopkins, Helen recalled additional details that she had not consciously retained. She described being taken from the ground into one of the craft by a beam of light.
Inside the craft, she encountered a tall being approximately six feet in height. It had a large head, a slender body, light grey skin, and enormous dark eyes that appeared to wrap around the sides of its head. Its nose consisted of two small dots, and its mouth was a thin slit. The being wore a metallic blue jumpsuit. It communicated telepathically with Helen and conveyed a reassuring demeanor.
Helen also recalled encountering eight or nine smaller grey beings who appeared less benevolent. These entities placed her on a table that seemed to float and performed a painful procedure involving her nose, apparently inserting a small object.
After the experience, Helen’s mother noticed something wrong with her daughter’s nose and took her to a local hospital. Medical examination confirmed damage to the nasal area, consistent with the procedure Helen would later describe under regression.
Peter Robbins went on to become a well-known UFO researcher, co-authoring the book “Left at East Gate” about the 1980 Rendlesham Forest incident. Helen pursued a career in music under the name Helen Wheels.

Investigation Notes
The case was investigated by Budd Hopkins and Peter Mazzola. Two witnesses observed the initial craft sighting. The abduction details were recovered via hypnotic regression decades after the event, which is a significant limitation. However, the contemporaneous hospital visit for nasal damage provides a physical evidence trail. Peter Robbins later became a prominent UFO researcher and co-author of 'Left at East Gate' on the Rendlesham Forest incident. Helen became punk musician 'Helen Wheels.' The description of both a tall grey and smaller greys predates the popularization of this entity configuration, which became common in later abduction reports.
